Version 1.0.0! (confetti)

  • The WIP rules are now official, with the following recent changes:
    • "Tasks involving items that can be reasonably expected to be found in any household are fine, as long as, naturally, this doesn’t involve the destruction of said items if they’re not expendable."
    • "If a card summons token creatures, you must create cards for those as well. (They will not be shuffled into the deck.) Token creature cards must be marked with a “Common” rarity (white gem)."

  • The base deck (30 cards) is now in effect, with the following recent changes:
    • Bare Bones added
    • Elder Ent added
    • Gathering Beacon added
    • Great Gate (and token Stoic Dwarf) added
    • Lonely Blade added
    • Maze of Cyndrias added
    • Prickly Cactus added
    • Sigil of House Antus added
    • Four of Skulls energy cost increased from 0 to 1
    • Stone Guardian energy cost increased from 2 to 3

V 1.1
  • Updated rules on attacking
    • Your target must be a single enemy creature.
    • Creatures with 0 attack can't attack.

  • Updated rules on card creation
    • Your card must be given a unique name (different from any other cards or tokens in the game).

  • Added hand limit
    • If a player has more than 10 cards in their hand at the end of their turn, they must discard down to that number.

  • Added tokens section
    • If a card effect creates a specific creature or card (rather than creating a new card following the card creation rules, possibly with restrictions) these are referred to as tokens. Most tokens are creatures, and behave identically to regular creatures, whereas the working of non-creature tokens will usually be dictated by the effect that created it. If a token of any kind is sent to either the discard pile or the deck for any reason other than its text or the text of the card that created it specifically said so, the token is instead removed from the game.
      (Note: a token with an effect akin to “Destroy this creature.” does not specifically send the token to the discard pile, so the token is still removed from play.

  • Added segment Further Miscellaneous Rules, currently containing the following:
    • A player’s points or energy, a card’s energy cost or a creature’s attack cannot go below 0.
    • If two cards contradict each other in a way that can’t be resolved by existing rules, the effect of the card(s) already in play is ignored as long as the newer card remains active.
    • The deck is always shuffled whenever a card is added to it (new or pre-existing) unless specified otherwise. Specifically placing cards on the top (or bottom) of the deck does not count.
    • If an effect doesn’t specify otherwise, numbers are rounded down.
    • A modification to a nonexistent value (such as, for example, giving a permanent magic card +1 attack) is disregarded.

  • Added keywords Government, Law, Taunt, Seppuku
    • Updated Defense Lawyer and Fish Bait to reflect this.

  • Updated Gathering Beacon to reflect its new working.
  • Replaced placeholder art on a number of cards.
  • Minor text fixes on a number of cards.
